So…man goes into a branch of Games Workshop and asks for a pot of paint.
Man buys pot of paint, costing in excess of four quid. But inflation isn’t the sign of age, oh no.
Man remarks that GW are selling paint in large pots, like, err, you know, back in the day.
Man is told that no, he’s mistaken, GW have never sold paint in these larger size pots.
Man exits shop, thinking ‘bless’.

Man checks his beard and spots a white hair.
Man goes “oh please…”

Seeing just the photo I thought ” finally they are selling in decent sizes again”, but 4 GBP is ridiculous! Especially since the lids look the same as they did on the previous pots. So they will probably tryout before you even got the old amount out of them. 😦

To be fair, I don’t believe they’ve ever sold 24ml pots before. The round HMG ones were 18ml and the hexagonal HMG ones were 17.5ml.
What’s this new flesh shade like, anyway? My old one (Ogre Flesh) from 2 paint ranges ago is getting low since I’ve been using it recently.
@Burkhard – decant into a Vallejo-style dropper perhaps? As I said though, my Ogre Flesh is still going, and that’s from at least the previous full range (in the Aussie heat), so it’s not *that* bad.

It’s decent stuff. The two things I always use loads of are this and Nuln Oil so I’m happy about the larger pot size but the price is a bit steep. Not sure whether all paints are moving to larger pots or whether it’s just washes…

I always fill my Vallejo paint into laboratory pots, since I feel they are less messy to paint from and as opposed to GW pots, they are airtight.

Cheers for the tip! It might stop my bi-annual fishing-out-the-crusty bits-from-inside-the-lids exercise…
