Christ on a jetbike. Time passes. I’ve kept busy over the year adding to the leadpile, attending a couple of shows (Derby Worlds last October – looking forward to this year) and Hammerhead back in May, painting my backlog and seriously getting into Kings Of War.
Much like a tree falling down in the forest when no one’s around it’s safe to say that my absence from the blogosphere didn’t leave a yawning chasm. It’s fine and I’m good with that but it did leave me thinking…
On and off over the last year I’ve pondered on whether to resurrect the blog but struggled to find a reason. It doesn’t and never did have a USP. I won’t be snagging any interviews with golden era ™ Games Workshp /Citadel staff anytime soon. I won’t be crowd-funding and releasing my own short-run sets of minis sculpted by my favourite sculptors of yesteryear. I’m way too apathetic to froth about Warhammer Age Of Who-really-gives-a-toss. So where does this blog fit in? It doesn’t! So enough of the existential crisis – let’s have some pictures of minis! Think of easilylead as a drunk stranger wandering up to you, opening up a box file of painted goodies and going “Pssst! Look what I painted”. For no good reason. Look inside friends, look inside…
Some very nice work you’ve done in the off time. I particularly like the Dwarfs.
My blog is kind of sitting in limbo at the moment, I’ve been pondering what to do about that. But seriously haven’t been up to much that seems worth blogging about.
So I’m kind of sticking to the old “If you’ve got nothing nice to say…”
Cheers for the welcome back. KoW is fantastic isn’t it. The fact that there are very few rules appeals to my swiss-cheese memory. It’s the anti-HoreMachine.
Seriously, you’re none of the above you mention but that’s excatly why it’s worth keeping talking and sharing 😉
That and pictures of cool models are always making someone’s day.
I’d guess your “USP” is the same as mine. Showing off your figures to people outside of your local circle that would never see them, getting a bit of feedback, and in turn keeping yourself motivated to paint more of ’em.
OK, maybe not that unique to the interwebs, but unique to yourself.
Nice work, by the way. Makes me want to start on some of my own Dorfs. Gotta maintain my discipline and finish off the crap I’m already painting…
Yer doing herself a disservice! Just had a look at the retro paint jobs you’ve done on your chaos figs and the skaven – nice work! I can certainly take some tips from your photography – mine are cack! Cheers for the comments – really appreciated.

Very kind – thank you! I’ll try to keep a steady flow of pics coming as minis roll off the production line…
